From Amazon: I purchased these recently to use to tie down an aircraft. I was never happy with the half hitches that I tied
in the tiedown ropes for my plane. I was never able to get them tight enough so that I was very comfortable that the plane would
stay well secured in a stiff wind. I wanted a product that would allow me to cinch the ropes down tightly, also I wanted something
that was fairly compact and lightweight so that I would carry them around in the airplane when traveling to other locations. These
fit the bill perfectly as they are small, lightweight, easy to use and hold very tight. Once the collar has been cinched I have been
unable to get the rope to budge at all. Honestly, I bought these because they were inexpensive enough that if they did not work I
would not be out much money, but I can now say that the product works very well and have exceed my expectations. Although they are
made from plastic the plastic feels substantial, not flimsy and when cinched down on the rope the hold feels quite strong.

easy to slide this on the rope, pull tight and then just turn the cinch....Removal is opposite....Very simple to use....
